She was living with her boyfriend and her boyfriend in Copenhagen when she received an email saying that Imtiaz Ali was looking to meet her in Prague to play a part in an Indian film. Nargis Fakhri began dating actor Uday Chopra in 2014. The couple split up in 2017. In May 2018 the actress announced her love affair with american filmmaker and video editor Matt Alonzo through her Instagram handle. The couple broke up in the year 2019. Currently she is engaged to American chef Justin Santos. Nargis is ranked 72nd in Forbes India's 2014 list Indian celebrities.
