Tracy Spiridakos (born in Winnipeg the city of Manitoba in Canada) is a native of Canada. Her most notable role is Charlotte "Charlie" Matheson, one of the characters on the NBC series Revolution. As a result the role, she was nominated for the Saturn Award as Best Actress on Television. Spiridakos was born in Winnipeg, Manitoba, to Greek parents. The family was in the Greek village located in Skala (near Sparta) when Spiridakos was just four years old. At the age of nine, they moved back to Canada. She strongly identifies herself with her Greek heritage, and is proficient in Greek. She was a student at Oak Park High School, Winnipeg. Spiridakos moved from Vancouver at the end of 2007 in order to pursue acting. Within a few weeks, she she was offered her first TV role which was a tiny part in Supernatural. She worked in television and got her first lead role with Majority Rules! in 2009. In 2011 she debuted in a feature film Rise of the Planet of the Apes. April Ross, a beach volleyball player American is part of a select category of females who have been awarded medals at multiple Olympics. Ross will compete in Tokyo to compete for her third Olympic medal along with Alix Klineman who is a first time Olympian. Ross's aim is to get her first Olympic gold medal. As she turns 39, it could be her last opportunity to claim the Olympic gold medal. Still confident but she is not sure. Ross said on NBC Boston that he believes that if the team plays their most effective, and even play an excellent game, they will be able to win gold. Also, I'll take the chance to have luck. Ross was born in 1982, and grew up within Costa Mesa California with her siblings and parents, started playing sports in Newport Harbor High School. Ross was a competitive athlete in a variety of sports during her time at Newport Harbor High School. Being a pre-athlete, she played indoor track and volleyball.
