Anna Paquin

Anna Paquin, a Canadian-New Zealander actress. Paquin is a native of Canada and New Zealand actress. Born in Winnipeg but brought up in Wellington She made her first acting appearance in The Piano. In this romance film, at the age of the age of 11, Paquin won her second Oscar for Best Actress. Anna Paquin in full Anna Helene Paquin (born on July 24, 1982 in Winnipeg Manitoba Canada) Canadian-born New Zealand actress who as was a young girl received the Academy Award for best supporting actress in her performance as the loquacious and inquisitive daughter of the lead role played by Holly Hunter in the atmospheric romantic drama The Piano (1993). As a result of an audition Flora McGrath was cast as the daughter of a Scottish pianist. Flora McGrath is the daughter of a muted Scottish musician who came into New Zealand to marry in the 19th century. As a teenager she emigrated into the United States. Paquin was played as the title child in Franco Zeffirelli's Jane Eyre in the year 1996. In addition, she played the lead role in Fly Away Home, a film from that same year. Paquin appeared as Frankie Addams, a character in Carson McCullers' novel The Member of the Wedding in 1997. In Steven Spielberg's Amistad in 1997, she played the queen of Spain in a lesser role. She played teenagers as part of Hurlyburly (1998), She's All That (2000), A Walk on the Moon (2000) and played in the role of polexia Aphrodisa girl as part of Almost Famous (2000).
