Arianna Huffington

Arianna Stassinopoulos Huffington resides in the US and is a Greek-American writer, syndicated columnist and businesswoman. She has written fifteen books and is the cofounder the magazine The Huffington Post. Arianna Huffington is a writer and television host, as well as philanthropist as well as the owner and publisher of The Huffington Post. Originating from Greece Arianna Huffington immigrated to England together with her family around 16 years old. In Cambridge University she earned a MA Degree in Economics. The first non-English student, she was elected President of The Cambridge Union' at age 21. Following graduation, she left her mark as a conservative syndicated columnist and with the launch of The Huffington Post' few years later she created an online voice platform that offered critical observations about the current political climate. The celebrity she enjoyed helped her to convince several celebrities to contribute their opinion about current affairs, as well as politics and culture. She graduated in 1972 with an education in Economics. Her professional career as TV host and journalist started after her graduation.
