Dolly-Parton

Dolly Parton escaped the struggles in her early life through her imaginative and creative imagination. Before she was able to write or read, she began to compose the songs she wrote herself. Her first guitar purchase came when she was 8 and started performing on a Knoxville Tenn radio station at age eleven. Gold Band Records is a small label that is independent. Although she became popular in the local scene while she was at high school, her ambitions were bigger. After graduating high school in 1964 she immediately moved to Nashville. Dumb Blonde, Something Fishy and Dumb Blonde both charted on Monument Records in 1967. The syndicated television show of Porter Wagoner was in need of the services of a new singer by the time. Parton took the job in 1966, she joined RCA Records in 1968, and the Grand Ole Opry was founded in 1969. Parton quit the Wagoner's band in 1974 after her own songs like Joshua Coat of Many Colors & Jolene outsold the collaborations. The two split in 1974, Parton wrote the song I Will Always Love You for Wagoner and it climbed to Number. The first time that a song was able to reach No.
