Sara Lynn Evans was born February 5 1971 and raised on a farm in New Franklin Missouri as the most senior of the seven children. By the age of five, music had become the mainstay of her life. In the nightclub in Columbia Missouri, she started singing when she was just 16 years old. The show lasted two years. She hoped to be a country singer. In 1991, she moved from Kansas City, Missouri in the state of Missouri to Nashville Tennessee. RCA has signed her to contract. Evans made Three Chords and the Truth which was her debut album in 1997. Reviewers praised the album as returning to traditional country and ranked it in many the top ten lists list of the year. However, the album failed to make it into the top ten lists of country radio stations of the period, and none of the songs reached the top 40. Lorraine Bracco.....................
